Headphone quantity

  If you're having problems connecting your headphones to your laptop, please follow the below steps: 1. Go to the Devices tab on the taskbar and find Headphones. Click on it. This is usually found in the bottom-right corner of the window. 2. Next, left-click on Playback Devices and you will see a list of playback devices connected to your computer or laptop – find Headphones/Playback in this list and make sure it is checked*. 3. Next, left-click on the volume for Headphones/Playback and you will see in the lower right corner of your screen, a volume slider. If Headphones/Playback was not unchecked in step 2, move this slider to the "0" mark. 4. Now you'll see a new icon appear on your taskbar. Right-click on that icon and go to Playback Devices → Headphones/Playback Devices or go to Start → Control Panel → Hardware and Sound → Properties In Windows 7 or 8, it is in Sound and Audio Devices where you need to go.
